Rwanda Youth in Agribusiness partners with, Youth entrepreneur Corporation and the Youth Agribusiness Incubator to foster partnership for providing support to young entrepreneurs

 

The Rwanda Youth in Agribusiness Forum (RYAF), Youth entrepreneur Corporation (YEC) from Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Youth Agribusiness Incubator (YAIN) from Burundi, on October 29, 2018 signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to foster partnership for providing support to young entrepreneurs based in this region.

The MoU , seeking to increase number of youth by providing strategies that can help to develop their business through creating platform connecting all youths business operating in different fields, and increasing feasibility of youth start ups promoting agro-activity of young entrepreneurs in this area, was signed by Jean Baptiste HAYEGEKIMANA Chairman of Rwanda Youth in Agribusiness Forum (RYAF), Claudien IRAGI HAMULI The Coordinator of Youth Entrepreneurs Corporation (YEC) and Aristide HORIMBERE Chairman of Youth Agribusiness Incubator (YAIN)

The signed MoU will be focusing to create and concretely accelerate the efforts in setting up the Great Lakes Regional Forum of Young Agripreneurs, where every young entrepreneur from this region will be work together to fund solutions to engaged young in entrepreneurship for a sustainable transformation of agribusiness in Great Lakes Region through the Forum.

Third parties also agreed to promote capacity building in agribusiness incubation, technology development and commercialization, knowledge management, entrepreneurship incubation financing and youth entrepreneurship and shall endeavor to create favorable conditions to facilitate the establishment and growth of sustainable entrepreneurship incubation in Greater Great Lakes Regional

Speaking during the ceremony, the Chairman of RYAF Jean Baptiste Hategekimana said that their main is to work with  youth from Greater Lakes Regional  is to take agribusiness to the next level; through creating a forum of all young entrepreneurs in agriculture sector and to reflect together how then can get support to developing their business.

He said that the MoU signed comes to create strongly forum of all young entrepreneurs in agriculture where each forum  in the country will mapping the all youth who are in agribusiness in order to provide support to them including training and capacity building and financial support from different partners in across the continental.
