After more than four years serving as Chairman of Rwanda Youth in Agribusiness Forum (RYAF), Jean Baptiste HATEGEKIMANA on June 12th, 2020 passed the responsibility to Corporate Liaison Manager Esperance while RYAF is waiting for the new leadership.
The ceremony, took place at the ministry’s headquarters, Kacyiru, and was witnessed by Director General of Corporate Services in the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources (MINAGRI), Yassin IYAMUREMYE
Speaking during the handover ceremony, Hategekimana thanked the Government of Rwanda and all RYAF members to have entrusted him with such huge responsibilities over the last four years.
He also took the opportunity to thank RYAF’s staff, partners, and all government’s institutions for what they’ve been able to achieve together over the last few years.
DG Yassin IYAMUREMYE thanked the outgoing RYAF CHAIRMAN for his contribution towards the transformation of agriculture sector, with engaging more youth in agribusinesses. “I really appreciated his energy, sensitivity and sense of pushing to make things happen,” said DG YASSIN.
On her behalf, the Corporate Liaison Manager prior her opportunities, has expressed her gratitude for the new responsibilities entrusted to her; pledging to do the best to take the Forum to next level.
She added that she will partner with whole RYAF’s staff, all partners and government institutions to build on the pace already made and accelerate the agriculture sector growth through young entrepreneurs in agriculture.
