Ephrem training farmers on methods to prevent and control mastitis in dairy cows.
The skills and experience Ephrem gained at Rwanda Youth in Agribusiness Form - Rwanda Dairy Development Project (RDDP) Phase 2 contributed much to widening his scope of specialization and working in other districts such as Kirehe to learn more about effective strategies on subclinical mastitis prevention. Most of the changes in the practices of farmers were gradual and positive, to which Ephrem attributed professional behavior and consistent engagement with farmers.
Ephrem who hails from western province of Rwanda, started internship in Nyagatare district and after completing it in this year of 2025 again opted to settle in Nyagatare as a private veterinary.
He urges other youth to be active and work together, stating that being part of RYAF has provided him with a lot of opportunities to develop both personally and professionally.
