On May 17, 2024, the Rwanda Youth in Agribusiness Forum (RYAF) and its members enthusiastically participated in the career day at IPRC Musanze. The event was a vibrant showcase of innovation product of our members, and RYAF staff team included District coordinator and Communication and Public Relation interacted with IPRC students and graduates, the services that RYAF offers to its members.

The objective of the career day was aimed to link industries and the private sector at large, as well as all potential employers, with graduates and current students. It was also an opportunity to thank and recognize stakeholders’ contributions and demonstrate the outstanding potential of IPRC students and their readiness for a career path.

IPRC Musanze started in 2015. It became one of the 8 constituent Colleges of RP in2017. It aspires to produce a competent workforce with skills and professionalism responding to the needs of the country, regional, and international labor market. IPRC Musanze offers a range of Advanced Diploma and Bachelor of Technology programs in different fields including the following: Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, ICT and Hospitality Management.

 In 2019, IPRC Musanze adopted that each year following the graduation ceremony of Rwanda Polytechnic, IPRC Musanze shall organize an open day to celebrate achievements including the graduation itself, and showcase the potential of graduates, students, and faculty members in solving community-based issues. Since then, in 2019 had the first open day, in 2020 and 2021 there was no open day due to the COVID outbreak, in 2022 they had a second open day, a third open day in 2023.

This year, under the guidance of authorities, the event was renamed "Career Day" to better reflect its purpose and intent.
